HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink Review

I have been reviewing diet plans, diet pills, etc. for a long time, and one of the biggest scams I’ve ever come across has been HCG! I’ve studied substances that are extremely dangerous and have even been banned. But at least they worked. On the other hand, HCG, a pregnancy hormone(REALLY?!?!?!?!), I just can’t say the same thing. Obviously, not all consumers agree with me. But I have based these on my own logic and research.
Even though a number of consumers disagree with me on the HCG Diet, and many of them say the same thing about the HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink, I find their reviews to be quite telling. The following comes from a reviewer named Sally:
Telling Consumer Reviews
“It is my understanding that the HCG injections are there to preserve the muscle so that a VLCD (very low calorie diet) can be followed effectively, utilizing highly nutritious but very low fat foods.
The diet is key to the program, as it encourages the body fat to be used as fuel. Under a doctor’s care, an appetite suppressant is also prescribed so that a VLCD can be tolerated long term.
This program is done in 8-week intervals, with three weeks off between cycles. Exercise is encouraged. I started five weeks ago with about 100 lb. to lose, and in that time have lost 17 lb. so far.”
What They Hope You Missed
Granted, I can safely say that this might come straight from someone who is trying to sell HCG or products like HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink that provide a cheaper alternative. But I can say more than that. While I don’t agree with the explanation that comes after it, I did notice one key part of this review. They say “the diet is key to the program.”
Most don’t think to ask. But you should. What is the “diet”? The diet goes beyond any sense of reason that we have stuck to in the past. The diet requires that you limit your diet to 500 nutrient rich calories per day at most! Some say that they encourage you to exercise, and others request that you don’t. Why? Because experts and nutritionists recommend that dieters consume at least 1200 calories a day! 500 calories a day is a form of anorexia! This leads to the question, why are you only losing 1 pound per day?
I have a few friends who used the HCG Diet, and most of them are or were at one time extremely overweight. I’ve gone on vacation with them, and I’ve watched them lose 10 pounds in 7 days eating junk food, because were up and about, walking from place to place. When going to extremes, you would expect them to be losing 2-3 or even 5 pounds per day! But can we really compare HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink to the real HCG Diet?
HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink Vs. HCG Diet
That we can’t say for sure. They do say that they use HCG. But it’s so diluted that we doubt it’s even there. You can of course make your own judgment call. But as far as we can tell, it’s all about the diet and nothing else! HCG Platinum Meal Replacement Drink may not have the side effects of the normal HCG. But then again, it’s nothing but water.
