In a category nearly ruled by SlimFast it might be hard to experience success but GNC GNC Lean Shake 25 has taken on the challenge anyway. They hope to break through by offering heaping amounts of key ingredients common to all meal replacements. Their aims seems solid enough but does GNC Lean Shake 25 really have everything it needs to compete in this market?
Pros
Containing only 200 calories and plenty of vitamins, nutrients, and other essentials, GNC Lean Shake 25 has the all the right ingredients for a healthy meal replacement. But more important than what ingredients they use is how much they use. The most distinguishing feature is the fact that GNC Lean Shake 25 contains 8 grams of fiber and 25 grams of protein!
With 8 grams of fiber, GNC Lean Shake 25 will help you control your hunger. Added fiber increases feelings of fullness and satiety so you feel the need to eat less and thereby take in less calories.
With GNC Lean Shake 25′s extra protein content you’re getting much more protein than you would be from competitors. Even “high-protein” versions of other meal replacements offer half of what Lean Shake does. This ample dosage of protein is a perfect source of material to fuel muscle growth. With proper exercise, the 25 grams in Lean Shake 25 can build lean muscle mass. More lean muscle enables your body to burn more calories, boosting your metabolism overall.
Cons
But with added fiber and added protein comes added price. A 16 serving container of Lean Shake 25 costs about $40. You may be getting twice the protein content as other meal replacements, but you’re paying three times the price of other products. That isn’t very cost efficient.
