Cut Calories to Lose Weight

Cut Calories to Lose WeightLosing weight isn’t the easiest thing in the world. In fact, it can actually be really difficult and at times seem impossible.

However, it doesn’t have to be. The smartest plan to lose weight is to be consistent and develop a plan you’ll actually follow.

One of the biggest reasons diets tend to fail is people severely shock their bodies by going on very strict diets. The main reason this doesn’t work is because their bodies don’t know what’s going on, and try to make up for the sudden loss in calories by being hungrier and creating strong cravings that can feel impossible to overcome.

“You have to start small,” says Holly Wyatt, MD, a clinical researcher at the Center for Human Nutrition in Denver. She goes on to say, “People tend to launch on a weight-loss program and try to change everything in their lives all at once.” No wonder so many diets fail.

So, in order to get on the right track, we’ve researched easy ways to cut calories without sending your body into shock. Here are simple things you can do to cut calories and begin your weight loss program in a way that will actually work.

Breakfast:

Cut Calories to Lose Weight1- Ditch the bagel or pop tart for a slice of whole wheat bread/toast with some strawberry (or any flavored) jam.

2- Drink your coffee black. Sugar and cream easily add calories to your diet, and when you’re drinking them, they’re easy to forget. If nothing else, at least drink your latte with skim milk, minus the whip cream. You probably won’t even notice the change.

3- Eat an orange instead of drinking orange juice. You’ll still get the vitamin C, without the extra sugar and intensely packed carbs.

Lunch:

1- Go light on the cheese, if you don’t just cut it all together.

Cut Calories to Lose Weight2- Try eating a wrap or pita instead of two slices of bread.

3- Get turkey in your burger, instead of beef.

4- Skip the creamy soups. Think red when it comes to soup!

5- Go for corn flour tortillas instead of their white flour counterparts.

Snacks:

Snacks are a sneaky, hidden way to really pack on the calories. Finding healthy snacks are essential. You’ll keep your metabolism fired up and working, while keeping hunger and killer cravings at bay.

Cut Calories to lose Weight1- Go for grapes instead of raisins. You’ll easily cut ½ the amount of calories right there.

2- Try eating pretzels instead of chips.

3- Popcorn! Popcorn is a great snack, without the extreme amounts of butter. Try eating kettle corn instead. Popcorn is full of fiber and will actually help keep you full longer.

Don’t get discouraged. Losing weight is possible, and it doesn’t have to take over your life. Just by making simple changes, you can drop those pounds.Apidextra

Our Recommendation

Another easy thing you can do to start losing weight, is to try adding a healthy dietary supplement.

We’ve looked at some of the best diet pills available and we’d recommend Apidexra because it uses all-natural, clinically proven ingredients, including Irvingia Gabonensis, or African Mango, to help people naturally and safely lose weight.

  1. that I wouldn't go to the exmrete, good meals come and go, how often do you regret NOT eating something more than a day later. The Weight Watchers is a great program from what I've seen, it really gives you knowledge about what you consume and they even give you handy hints about eating out. Use this info, read the menu carefully and look for the healthier options, skip a starter or have an entree for your main. You shouldn't have to suffer because your dieting, just be more aware of what you eat.

  2. I walk to and from work about a mile and a half. I work nights so when I go to work and leave its pertty quiet. Relaxing too. AND dangerous so keep my wits about me. Ottawa just had a 3 month bus strike so walking was not a choice. Besides you can be halfway home so why wait for one? I suggest runners with insoles, dressing in layers and a knapsack to buy stuff and a waterbottle around your neck. Music am fm too. Walk dont run. You dont get hurt and see more.

  3. On a cold winter day I can eaisly manage 25000 steps per day without much effort through a combination of exercise and daily life, but in the summer I stuggle to make it to 10000 because I get so hot and thirsty. I genuinely do enjoy it though. Walking briskly gives me a high', my limbs feel loose like I've had a massage and I feel more alert.Boredom is a major factor in whether you'll fail or succeed. It's amazing what a difference listening to some good music can make. Good luck!

  4. its healthier to lose 1-2 poudns per week so you should burn or cut out 500 calories from your diet per day 3500 calories = 1 pound so you could cut out 200 calories and then walk 10000 steps which burns around 500 calories so you've burned 700 calories. Do this everyday and you should loose 1-2poudns per week (remember it depends on your weight and age) hope this helps ^_^

  5. I wasn't doing spin/turbo back to back! The 2 hr spins on Monday and Friday are back to back, but I generally turbo at luhtmcine. When you think about it, I'm kind of 1lb up, because last week I lost 3 lbs. So it's not a disaster. And I ate a load of delicious birthday related food. It's difficult when you are married to someone who makes wonderful cakes and biscuits. And when you have little will power. Thanks for cals link and encouragement. For the next 5 days I'll make a point of recording my cal intake. I'm interested in how it all works out. I'll tell myself it's an experiment so that I stick to it.

  6. That would be really ineniestrtg if you can put down estimated cals burned and eaten for a few weeks compared to weight. I find after a hard week I do put weight on and during a rest week it all disappears. Also if you do a lot one week you might start craving a hell of a lot of sugar the next week!! um like me. Good luck with your targets.
