But even if you were on your own, equipped with a healthy diet and exercise program (study subjects are equipped with a doctor recommended diet and exercise plan), a person who was not morbidly obese could expect to lose maybe 2 pounds a week. Morbidly obese people would lose more. So logically, that would take the average healthy weight person about 10-11 weeks. Why is it taking these subjects, who are obese, 56?
The Side Effects Are Serious
This is actually the reason why Contrave was not approved. Some critics say that the side effects are not a big deal and the only side effect is nausea. Try again. Studies have shown that Contrave can cause potentially serious heart damage. So yes, the side effects do actually outweigh any possible results.
Conclusion on Contrave
Truthfully, Contrave does not actually have any benefits that are not relatively debatable. Bottom line, Contrave does not have clinically proven ingredients, or at least not what I would consider to be clinically proven. It has an antidepressant and something that has been used to help alcoholics, hardly revolutionary fat burners or appetite suppressants.
