ChitoLite promises pretty extreme results, and most people don’t realize just how extreme that is. The average hamburger from McDonalds has an average of about 9-12g of fat! And that is a lot. But ChitoLite promises to block 10X that at 90g! How many hamburgers would you have to eat to match that!
Theoretically, it would mean that you get more weight loss. But you also have to wonder how extreme an ingredient would have to be to promote this effect.
Even Alli only blocks a certain percentage of your fat intake up to a certain point. It doesn’t block 90g of fat, and it does cause quite a few nasty side effects, even with a low fat diet.
How Much Fat Can ChitoLite Block?
It’s all speculation at this point. First, ChitoLite says that it can block 90g of fat with 1g of chitosan. ChitoLite does not have 1g of chitosan. So that undermines that theory. But considering the fact that Alli cannot even block that much fat, what makes you think that chitosan can? Technically, chitosan has not even been clinically proven.
And even if you were to go by customer reviews instead of clinical studies, the most positive studies I’ve seen say that products that use 750mg or more are effective. I’ve never actually seen a product using such a small proprietary blend that seems to work.
Conclusion
ChitoLite has only one weight loss ingredient, and I do have some doubts about it either way. But if used correctly, the one ingredient in ChitoLite could work. The only problem is that ChitoLite doesn’t seem to make proper use, which is why I’ve seen more complaints than anything else concerning ChitoLite.
