Awe-Slim is not a normal diet pill. It is actually a collagen nutritional supplement brought to you by NOW®. NOW® does not usually produce diet pills, they are more well known for their essential oil collection. However, this nutritional supplement is designed to help the body build collagen which can help to maintain lean muscle mass. Lean muscle mass is needed to burn fat, and if you’re trying to lose weight it is important that you’re keeping lean muscle which can be lost during aerobic exercise. If you’re looking for a collagen supplement this may be good, but is it good for weight loss?
Pros
Awe-Slim contains two ingredients that have actually been shown in studies to provide good benefits. Super citrimax has been shown maintain lean muscle mass for some weight loss benefits. The other ingredient that is beneficial is conjugated linoleic acid. This has been shown to help those in studies reduce their fat while preserving muscle mass. Both of these are contained in the Awe-Slim blend so the amounts are not known.
Cons
As mentioned above the two proven ingredient amounts are not known. We know those ingredients are helpful, but we don’t know if they amounts in Awe-Slim are enough to really provide results. The other con is that this product may help provide weight loss, but it certainly won’t be quick. You can lose weight by maintaining your lean muscle mass, but it will be slow. The real weight is lose when you increase lean muscle mass through exercise.
Conclusion
We do not recommend this for significant weight loss. If you’re looking for a collagen supplement then it may be a great one for you. However, we suggest products that provide fat burners, and appetite suppressants so that you can fight the causes of weight gain.
